A native of Buffalo, NY, V’ta has been performing for several years at numerous venues across the country. V’ta can be seen performing various times throughout the months at Club Marcella. She has impersonated characters such as Whitney Houston, Beyonce, Diana Ross, Toni Braxton, Mary J, Deborah Cox, and Janet Jackson to name a few.
V’ta is best known for her impeccable dance skills, and on stage dynamics. V’ta has been dancing, teaching, and choreographing for most of her life. She says, “The art of female impersonation is an amazing craft; it takes a lot of hard work, and dedication. I believe you can learn a little something from everyone of us. It will only help you grow into a stronger person!”
I have been faithfully working at Club Marcella for the past 11 years. I went from guest performing on Wednesday nights in a show called "Showgirls" to being a cast member on a Thursday night show called "The New Kids on the Block". I was ambitious and tried to learn everything could about drag. Through my perseverance, I found myself guest performing on Saturday and Sunday nights.
Now I am the only representative of the Latino community that performs on the stage at Club Marcella. It is a great deal of responsibility, but it is a challenge that I have not backed down from yet. I have performed all over the United States and Canada and love every moment of it! Drag is forever a learning experience that never dies.
I enjoy performing songs that have a meaning and that have a message that people can relate to and they can use to help them forget about their problems for at least the length of the song. At times, you will catch me dancing to a song that moves me personally. I have always been awed by Mary J. Blige, Jennifer Lopez, Anastacia, Linda Eder and many others. I have to feel the song or else I will not perform it.
There are many times that the audience and/or fans are not acknowledged for their patronage, so this is my acknowledgement to all of you who frequent the shows, whether it is on a Thursday, Friday, Saturday or a Sunday, THANK YOU for supporting us and keeping us going!
I don't idolize just one drag performer, there are many. To name just a few: Monica Munroe, Sasha Valentino, Sasha Colby, Armani, V, Orgasmatron, Erica Norell, T.P. Lords, Robotika, Ambrosia and so on. Every performer I have come in contact with has taught me a thing or two about perfecting the Art of Drag. Thank you Girls!
I perform every Saturday at 1 am and every Sunday at 11:30 pm and 1:30 am. Along with being an icon performing in Buffalo, I am also working to get my degree in Criminal Justice. Beauty and Brains!
My favorite color is anything neon. I was born under the Astrological Zodiac Sign Ethiopian. I'm known as the Popestress to the Church of "Eat It" on Face Book. I'm also known as the "Short Circuit Fembot Queen, all the way from Uranus," "The Tallest Queen in Buffalo's Captivity," and, of course, "The Mother of all Freaks."
My favorite quotes include: "Pop music will never again be low brow," "Eat it," "Hey, Fish," "Mrow," and "A Queen always beats a straight in my deck of cards." Drag to me is an art of illusion; it is making what is not there, appear and what is there, concealed.
The most important things about my performances is entertainment value and shock value. My makeup is always flawless or this bitch does not hit the stage. Her face is always painted for stage and ready to give her all. I love the stage.
In closing, I want to say that I love all of my fans! Whether you are a Life's A Drag veteran or one of the new kids out on a Freak Show Friday, I love YOU!!
My Favorite songs to perform are: Aqua, A Teens, Cher, Madonna, Britney Spears, Amy Whinehouse, and of course my idol, Stephane Germanottam aka LADY GAGA!!

Jayme Coxx has been in the drag scene for 8+ years now, with 7 of those years in Buffalo, NY. Jayme is known for being the host of original shows and events including Trailer Park Tuesdays, Buffalo Drag 101, Bad Girls, Wanna-Be, The Jayme Coxx Show, Detention Wednesdays, and others not to be forgotten...even though they may slipped her mind!
Jayme is Originally from Danbury, CT. She started with drag at Heaven in NYC and continued on to Fabulous in White Plains, Triangles in CT, and Primetime in Poughkeepise, NY. She moved to Buffalo about 9 years ago and has quickly become a known face in the drag world with past titles of Miss Disco Diva 2005, Miss Cobalt Idol, Entertainer of the Month for November 2004, Imperial Crown Princess to reign 19 of the I.C.O.B. and a former cast member of Cobalt Nightclub.
Trailer Park Tuesdays was the longest running show and most successful spreading out between 4 bars and a total of 4 1/2 years. That show went through many great and crazy times and helped mold Jayme into the queen she is today. As soon as Trailer Park Tuesdays ended, it was time for a new chapter and a chance to step away from just comedy and show versatility. With no break in the drag scene, she jumped right back in and started a new show with legendary drag queen Orgasmatron called Bad Girls at Buddies II on Allen St. every Tuesday at 10 pm and midnight. Unfortunately, the bar closed soon after the beginning of Bad Girls and it then became home, and currently still home, to Adonias.
During the years of Trailer Park Tuesdays, Jayme got her chance and was noticed by performers and staff of Club Marcella and was asked to come guest perform. Over time, she became part of a competition to be on a new show at the club. She made it onto the cast of Twisted Thursdays and then after a year of that became the an MC of her own Marcella show. That began the road of new chances and meeting many people that Jayme learned a great deal from. Makeup, costume making, enhancing her performances, etc. and to this day learns every day from the great girls of Club Marcella.
Jayme currently hosts Marcella's Misfits every Thursday with shows at 11:30 am and 1:30 pm, which is home to one of her original concepts. College Warz is a competiton that gets local colleges involved in the world of drag, LGBT, and a world outside of school. You can also see Jayme at many local colleges drag shows held on campuses for coming out week events.
Jayme Coxx has become a household brand name you may want to know and use in everyday life. She's known for her life-sized Kelly Clarkson, Gretchen Wilson, Cyndi Lauper, and Mika impersonations, comedic performances for all audiences, and off the wall original concepts. She is a performer to love and adore.
Natasha is a very versatile entertainer with numbers ranging from pop, techno, country and comedy. She's known as the "Mary Roach" of Buffalo and the "Queen Sized Britney Spears of the Queen City." She got started in drag at Buddies on Trailer Park Tuesdays and then she moved to Club Marcella during the Next Top Performer Competition.
My favorite songs to perform are: Britney Spears, anything fun and upbeat, and Lucille Ball.
